Ingredients -
2 cups powdered sugar
⅔ cup cocoa powder
2 cups instant dry milk powder
½ cup crushed candy canes or semisweet chocolate chips
⅓ cup powdered non-dairy creamer
Pinch of salt
¼ cup mini marshmallows
4 chocolate kisses
1 candy cane
Preparation:
Sift the powdered sugar with the cocoa powder.
Stir in the dry milk powder, crushed candy canes or chocolate chips, creamer and salt.
Stir well and transfer the mixture to a Ziploc bag or airtight container.
Put this inside a large decorative jar.
Fill one cellophane baggie with marshmallows and another with chocolate kisses and put those in the jar too.
Write or print the snowman soup poem on one side of a sheet of paper and the snowman soup preparation instructions on the other (these instructions would be to dissolve 3 or 4 teaspoons of the hot chocolate mixture in a mug of boiling water, then to add the chocolate kisses, candy cane and marshmallows).
Roll the paper into a scroll.
